Of course it has no ins and outs. The included software Traktor LE has a map for the stealth, and the first time you run it you select the unit from a list, and you are ready to start playing. I haven’t looked into it, but since it is midi I’m going to try to un-map the pitch bend from the jog wheel.
It jus took us a 10 minutes and 2 downloads for midi maps to set this up with the notebook and start playin. The knobs and faders all have a nice rubberized coating and feel great when working them.
The controller looks well built. If you don’t have your own sound card you could get the omni or buy a sound card to allow headphone use.

Browsing and loading songs can be done from the unit itself, without using the mouse. The tactile feel of controlling your sounds with buttons, knobs, and faders, makes performing with the Stealth Control a more enjoyable experience.
It is too easy to bump the wheel or even rock the table enough to register a bend. Should I just take this back and stick to the classic Total Control?
The ease and simplicity of having your hardware controls pre-mapped to the software make mixing with the Stealth Control feel like you’re using dedicated hardware. The software does a great job analyzing bpm with electronic and simple hip hop tunes but seems to be way off with anything else. It worked ok, but I wasn’t feeling it so to speak.
Most of the Djing softwares Traktor, VDJ,Deckadance, etc support this natively that pretty much allows u to plug n play. The software must tell the LEDs to light. How many bend controls do I really need, anyway? This is not a unit for beat jugglers or serious turntable work- you can only scratch while the deck is stopped.
