Startech USB2IRX USB to Fast Infrared(FIR) IrDA Adapter Moschip MCS7780 #21732
Ideally, both platforms would be useful, though one is infinitely better than none! I was hoping to treat it as a serial port, but it doesn’t show up like that in Device Manager – it shows up as a “USB-Infrared Adapter”.
– cannot connect a MCS USB IR adapter
Kind regards and many thanks for your help. I also have the same problem.
The reason in that the electronic chip used into my token is the MosChip Semiconductor mcs electronic chip. I want to mcx7780 bytes like through a serial port, as the embedded device treats its IRDA interface as a simple serial port.
